Skinhorse Truth: Mortality and Divinity

Oh, to rise above the mortal plane—
that we may challenge the distance between
our human and divine selves.

I just wanted to say that I loved your poem in the last post. Your posts are so inspiring. It's one of my new favorite Sunday activites to read them. I thought no one else understood how hard it was to forgive someone who had hurt you and abused you, especially when they have no remorse. Thank you so much for that poem. I somehow felt like it was meant to be for me to read it when I did. Hope you're having a great Sunday.

It does my heart good to know that these posts of mine might actually make a real difference. I was beginning to wonder if I was on the wrong track in all my sharing. So...thank you. Thanks for sharing some of your own personal thoughts here today.

As for forgiveness...each person's journey is a little different, of course; ultimately, though, it comes down to our willingness to give a little so that the Savior might give the rest. There is no cookie-cutter approach and no standard timeframe. Just be as open as you can to the blessing of forgiveness in your own life...and it will come.

Just knowing that someone understands even a little of your pain can be a great healer in itself. I hope you continue to share with those around you whom you trust. MUCH love to you, Stacey!
