Skinhorse Poetry: "The Empty Chair"
Large.
Rich in color.
Strong back.
Arms to support.
Residing place.
Presiding place.
Place of honor.
Place of grace.
Not unlike other
Chairs beside it.
And yet —
Yes, different.
Empty now.
